The Stellenbosch University, one of the best Universities in South Africa, disclosed that the white student who was caught on camera urinating on the books and a laptop belonging to a black student has been expelled from the institution.
In a statement released by Stellenbosch University, Mr. Du Toit was found guilty of acting racist while saying a variation of “it’s a white boy thing” and therefore violating the “Disciplinary Code for Students of SU 2021”.
The first year white student, Du Toit was expelled with immediate effect from Stellenbosch University in terms of the urination charge and the statement charge.
Du Toit was caught in a video on Sunday, May 15, 2022 around 04:00 at Huise Maria residence urinating on the belongings of a black first year student who was sleeping in the dorm.
There is an off-camera student who says to him, “Why are you peeing in my room?” The young man with short brown hair and a beige hooded jacket serenely answers his question with “I am waiting for someone” without halting his activity.
