Administered by UCT GSB Solution Space – a specialist facility of the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business – the e-Track programme is an incubation and capacity enhancement intervention for young, high-growth ventures.
The e-Track programme is split into two phases that have been initiated through funds from ayoba, a super-app designed to enhance the digitalization experience and utility for users based in Africa as well as support Africa’s small businesses to digitize and grow.
The first phase is the Venture Launch programme, designed to assess the viability of the venture idea and suitable for those participants, who already have or would like to have for-profit and non-profit scalable ventures.

Those who pass the phase one successfully get certified by UCT GSB and can pitch for phase two, from which only 15 Startups are chosen. Unlike phase one, phase two is intended to enhance the acceleration of the validated venture, and it ends with the pitch day when the venture makes a pitch in front of a room full of investors, venture capitalists, and capacity builders capable of taking the startup to the next level.
The applications for phase one of the project are still open for registration until the end of June.
