The theme of the COMESA Investment Forum highlights the imperative for policymakers and the private sector to collaborate more effectively and take bold action to accelerate regional development by boosting cross-border investment and trade flows.
“The forum provides ample networking opportunities through dedicated spaces for B2B, B2G, and government-to government (G2G) meetings, enabling participants to create valuable linkages and identify potential partnership opportunities across various sectors,” reads the statement.
This year’s COMESA Investment Forum is particularly significant as it takes place in Tunisia, which joined the COMESA family in July 2018, providing a strategic gateway to the region’s vast and lucrative market.
