In a moment of brief uncertainty, President Bola Tinubu slipped while boarding the parade vehicle at the 2024 Democracy Day celebration held at Eagles Square in Abuja on Wednesday. However, the President quickly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings, showcasing his resilience and determination.
The incident occurred shortly after President Tinubu arrived at the venue, as he approached the vehicle. According to eyewitnesses, the President momentarily lost his footing while attempting to step onto the vehicle. Nevertheless, he swiftly recovered and continued with the event, unfazed by the brief slip.
The Democracy Day celebration at Eagles Square was one of several events marking Nigeria’s transition to democracy and the sacrifices made by notable figures like MKO Abiola. Despite the minor mishap, President Tinubu’s composure and swift recovery demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the nation’s celebrations.
