Award-winning musician Patoranking has once again demonstrated his commitment to philanthropy and community development.
The artist has constructed a mini-stadium in Ebute Metta, Lagos State, the neighbourhood where he grew up. He states the mini-stadium is expected to serve as a hub for sports and recreation, offering the youth a safe and supportive environment to develop their talents and engage in healthy competition.
He shared a video of the facility on Instagram, expressing his gratitude for his blessings and his desire to share them with his people.
The stadium, named “World Best,” is a state-of-the-art facility with a playing surface, seating, and floodlights.
“God blessed me, I Blessed my People, I built this from a place of love to unite my Community Ebute Metta… First of Many. World Best”, he wrote.
Netizens expressed their gratitude, acknowledging the significant role the mini-stadium will play in fostering community spirit and providing opportunities for growth. The facility is seen as a symbol of hope and progress, highlighting the positive change that can come from acts of kindness and generosity.
Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, known by his stage name Patoranking, is a Nigerian Afrobeats and reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter.
Born and raised in Ebute Metta community of Lagos, he grew up sharing one room with his parents and five siblings. His modest upbringing and close relationship with his family instilled a drive and determination to create a better future, which led him to music.
Patoranking started his music career doing underground collaborations with artistes like XProject, Konga, Slam and Reggie Rockstone. He signed a record deal with K-Solo’s Igberaga Records in 2010 and released “Up in D Club” under the outfit. His breakthrough came with the release of “Alubarika” in 2013, which featured Timaya.
He has won several awards, including the Headies Award for Best Reggae Dancehall Album in 2022. Patoranking has also been nominated for several MTV Africa Music Awards and Nigerian Entertainment Awards. Away from music, Patoranking leads a quiet life and has two children with businesswoman Leila Stone.

Award-winning musician Patoranking emphasises that the project marks the beginning of many more to come, as he will continue to use his success to uplift and unite his community.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first philanthropy of the Artiste. He has done numerous of them in the past. Recently, the artiste has also launched the Patoranking Foundation, in partnership with ALX Africa, a $500,000 scholarship programme to provide tech training for 40 young Africans in fields such as data analytics, cloud computing, and Salesforce Administration.
