Several foreign tacticians have indicated an interest in the role left open by Finidi George’s resignation, with some even uploading videos to demonstrate why they should be considered.
However, as the coaching situation develops, a recent report has surfaced revealing that the NFF administration has begun interviewing applicants who have expressed an interest in the position.
According to a report by media site Score Nigeria, NFF authorities have begun screening and interviewing many potential foreign coaches for the Super Eagles. According to the article, the screening procedure was carried out both digitally and physically, based on the coaching applicants’ preferences.

NFF President Ibrahim Gusau and Sports Minister John Enoh were first believed to have flown to London for the appointment of a new Super Eagles coach.
The report adds that the football federation is not ruling out employing the same strategies and methods as in the appointments of Jose Peseiro and Gernot Rohr, in which the NFF president overturned the technical committee to make the final decision.
