South Africa’s MobileGPT has released KaraboAI, a modern ‘chatbot-as-a-service’ solution that enables you to build smart-sophisticated chatbots with numerous characteristics and options.
Created last year by Bertha Khokong, MobileGPT is a WhatsApp application that leverages the features of the GPT-4 engine to allow users to access an AI companion while on the move. It participated in the second cohort of Grindstone X program towards the end of last year.
The company has now unveiled the upgraded successor of the MobileGPT named as Karabo AI that provides a solution to a range of chatting services that can be hired to quote generation service, appointment setting using chatbot, using chatbots for selling through WooCommerce, data collection and data room.

KaraboAI also supports the import from Google Calendar, WhatsApp, and WooCommerce while also providing a WP plugin to manage it.
“We travelled around the country talking to clients about MobileGPT, we listened to their needs, and the common thread across most engagements with clients was that people wanted to create their own MobileGPT, their own smart intelligent AI chatbot for internal use, client support, etcetera. So we created exactly that. Now everyone can create their own MobileGPT, in a way because our chatbots can also be launched on WhatsApp,” Kgokong said.
