Information suggests that the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) targeted the Saudi Hospital and partially destroyed part of it in North Darfur’s capital, El Fasher yesterday. From the same sources, the attack made by the artillery fortunately, did not cause any loss of lives.
There was also fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the RSF south of El Fasher yesterday evening. The SAF reacted by employing fighter planes to attack groups of RSF fighters situated north and east of the city.
“The continuous bombing of the city by the RSF has led to the death and injury of hundreds of civilians, and has displaced thousands,” said a resident of El Fasher who chose to remain anonymous.

She continued, stating that the security authorities in El Fasher have also prohibited the use of Starlink and seized equipment from providers that allowed people to call their families and receive money sent from other countries.
The resident considered it as an act of right violation and communication deprivation.
Last week, the RSF bombed Jebel Marra Hospital, in North Darfur’s El Fasher’s Grand Market. It was also reported that the northern part of the third floor of the hospital was burnt down, although most of the medical equipment was not affected.
MSF urged the conflicting factions to spare civilians and medical facilities and allow humanitarian actors to safely access the affected region to continue providing humanitarian aid.
