The Cholera epidemic has claimed 15 lives in Lagos State and 350 suspected cases have been recorded in the state. The Lagos Ministry of Health reported that the state currently has 17 confirmed cholera cases. This was disclosed by the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, while explaining measures put in place to contain the outbreak in Lagos State. Launched in 2020, Potcast founded by Islam Adel, produces 15 different podcast programmes targeting different customer segments, the company reached 7 million listens and over 600K viewing hours in the past 6 months. South African Minister of Health, Dr Joe Phaahla, has confirmed that the Mpox, formerly referred to as monkeypox, has killed a second individual. The announcement was made within a day of the government briefing the nation on measures taken to contain the spread of the contagious disease.
