Ethiopian Airlines has declared that the Nigerian government has lost any interest it may have had in partnership with the view of establishing the Nigeria Air project. The online petition asking for ministerial actions against the Electricity Control Board’s (ECB) that has resulted in an 8% electricity tariff hike has been signed by over 4, 000 people in the first four days only. The National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has closed about one hundred shops in Ogbete main market, Enugu State. NAFDAC stated that these shops were closed on Monday when officials of the organization, together with Nigerian security forces, stormed the market. The Sudanese army has dismissed reports of the RSF holding Sinjah, the capital of Sennar state, insisting that its troops are in fierce fighting against the invading paramilitary group. The World Food Programme (WFP) announced on Sunday that unknown armed men stole three delivery vehicles en route to Central Darfur. On Thursday, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) said there were 25.6 million hungry people in Sudan, including 755,000 in the famine stage which may happen in 14 regions in Kordofan, Darfur, Al Jazirah, and Sennar. The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has released a notice regarding increased cases of bullying through illegal loan mobile applications, where 130 cases were recorded in the year 2024.
