The residents of Um Rawaba in North Kordofan state observed a fragile calm following past fighting recently and the restoration of the Zain Communications network.
Sources confirmed however that the network’s signal is still low, making it considerable to still use the Sudani network for communication.
Network expectations remain as anticipation for changes to happen, which is partly influenced by Eid. The city is still struggling to address an ongoing electricity and water challenge after the elimination of the Um Rawaba transformational plant, with water prices inflating.
