Shouting “there is no justice in this land” and “Justice for Patrick”, at least thirty protestors demonstrated on a Saturday in Grand Rapids, eastern United States.
Police brutality culminating in the death of a 26-year-old Congolese-American man sparked the demonstrations against racism and police reform.

Patrick Lyoya, a black man, was fatally shot by a police officer during a traffic stop in the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 4.
Before the shooting, he seemed to be struggling with the police officer for the possession of the taser in a video that was captured by the passenger in his car.
