Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is to return to the ring in November for a controversial crossover clash with Jake Paul, but he already eyes the biggest challenge in a shock showdown—a charity bout with Anthony Joshua.
In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Tyson, who has been training hard for his return, showed an interest in the proposed charity fight with Joshua. “I’m very interested. If doing that means we can have a bigger charity exponent, well so be it, I’m down to do that, too. I would love to, that would be mind-blowing,” Tyson told TMZ Sports.
The two all-time great heavyweight world champions would square off for a very big charity bout. After having lost his titles to Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua, who is in the middle of a four-fight winning streak, was going to use the charity bout as a chance to try and get himself back on top of the heavyweight division.
Mike Tyson clash with Jake Paul has sparked outrage within the boxing community, with many fans publicly venting their disgust at the latter. However, Joshua has surprisingly come out in support of Paul’s gimmick-driven fights, stating that they bring in new fans and benefit the sport as a whole.

But he has to get past Paul first, who on fight night will be 31 years his junior, and then only can he think of a charity clash with Joshua. November is when the world will watch closely to see if Tyson will defy logic again and down youthful, brash Paul.
If Tyson comes out on top, then a charity fight with Joshua would be the proper, ideal way of bowing out. It would dwarf any title contest in size and see two of the greatest heavyweight champions of boxing stage an exhibition of fists for charity.
