High Life Nigerian musician Chinedu Okoli, a.k.a. Flavour N’abania, buried his father, Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli, in style today in Umunze, Anambra State, after a grand funeral burial arrangement.
Some celebrities who graced the funeral include Phyno, Obi Cubana, Cubana Chief Priest, and Obinna top male dancer (Odumeje). It was even more colourful, with many people dressed up, especially friends and relatives who came to pay their last respects to the deceased Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli.
The news of Flavour’s father’s burial surfaced on the web, and the artiste himself posted on his Instagram handle concerning his father’s burial, writing, “O RUO N’OMUME. KA ANYI DUO ODOGWU IJE,” which roughly translates to “The time has come.”
Flavour’s born and raised father, Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli, was a retired soldier and a traditional ruler of his lineage. He died in a very humble manner after a prolonged illness. He was 74 years old, and this will definitely be mourned by his family and community.

The funeral celebration was a beautiful blend of traditional and modern elements, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Okoli family. The event was filled with music, dance, and tributes to the late Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli.
